One of the main topics in our Project are Helmets.

PIONEERS project has investigated which helmet areas show more frequently damages / contact points.

From the analysis of the available data from France, Germany, Italy and Australia, it can be seen that all areas are hit, but the areas  13-15, 18-19, 23-25 and 28 are affected more frequently.

Most case tests are based on hits in area 35, but this is not the most impacted. Therefore, the test strategy should probably be modified.
